Jennifer Kuhns is a master at precision cutting stained glass for mosaic, and this course, Precision Cutting for Stained Glass Mosaics is for anyone who enjoys (or wants to enjoy) creating mosaic art with stained glass. If you are interested in creating stained glass mosaics, we highly recommend this course before moving onto Jennifer’s Glass on Glass Mosaics course.
Jennifer has spent years honing her skills by working with different tools to discover which ones work best. In this course she will walk students through the steps of understanding stained glass. How to use the tools and understand the best options for getting started. For those that have struggled in the past making specific cuts she will guide you to success. Students will start with simple cuts, then move to more challenging ones including deep curves and circles. Once you have practiced a few of these cuts you will work alongside Jennifer as she creates an entire mosaic in real time. You can also try her more challenging templates as your skills improve with each mosaic.
Jennifer shares many of the tips and techniques that will open a whole new world of stained glass to you. Jennifer also gives a grouting demonstration in which she teaches the best way to grout a glass-on-glass piece and avoid "grout bleed." This course includes many template options from the basic to more challenging. This way, you can continue to practice and create this style of mosaic art on your own. The project created can be created on any substrate and learning to cut stained glass into your desired shapes is the key to producing a successful precision cut mosaic piece.
Included in this course is a PDF for download of the suggested tools, materials, and resources. You will also find patterns for download to create your precision stained glass mosaics.

Frequently Asked Questions
I enjoyed watching this video! I wanted to do a widow in stained glass on glass but wasn't sure if I would like it. However, thanks to Jenn, I believe I am ready to do my first project using this method. Using her techniques it appears that it wouldn't take as long to do a window. Thanks, Elaine R.
